Testimonials

When Philip was struggling at school I contacted Samantha for her advice. I found her to be very approachable and helpful. A Full diagnostic assessment uncovered that Philip had dyslexia. Philip also had some difficulties with Maths and we therefore began private tuition.  Since Philip started his Maths session with Samantha his confidence has grown enormously.  Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic Philip worked with Samantha in person, however since the restrictions he beagn his sesions with Samantha over Face time. Philip enjoys his lessons with Samantha and I have seen a real improvement in both his approach to Maths and his ability.

Our daughter Molly had a Dyslexia assessment in 2018 and since then Samantha has been teaching Molly during one to one sessions, these have continued very successfully remotely over lockdown.

Samantha’s knowledge in the individualised teaching for dyslexia has raised Molly’s ability in English and Maths to where she should be in the curriculum for her year. Molly has responded extremely well to Samantha’s calm and encouraging manner and has also helped Molly overcome her particular ‘fear’ and reticence in Maths.

Samantha’s intervention in Molly’s education has been an eye opener to us as parents. She has given us the reassurance that Molly is a very bright and able child and with additional support she can succeed.

With that in mind, this year Samantha has coached Molly in the entrance exams, which she has passed, to attend a prestigious independent school.

As parents we have found Samantha to be very professional and knowledgeable as well as very flexible and willing when needed to assist Molly in her other subjects.

From our experience we would very gladly recommend Samantha for teaching children with dyslexia.

I wanted to say a big thank you to you for all your support with Bella’s Dyslexia diagnosis and support. Your intervention, support and follow up provided her with the structure and foundation to succeed - thank you so much. You also helped me support her and to understand how to help her. Thank you.

Since Raphael was roughly 2 years old we have known that he has a learning delay. I am a teacher myself and while working with Sam we began to have conversations about Raphael’s educational needs. These conversations very quickly progressed to Sam advising my husband and I to put in a request into the LA for an EHCP. In the meantime, Sam said that she would come to Raphael’s school to do a full diagnostic assessment over 3 sessions. The results of the assessment displayed that Raphael didn’t have dyslexia, but he manifested similar traits. She recommended a specialist education. Sam came to Raphael’s school twice after the assessment to offer support and guidance to the teachers, and to also ensure that Raphael had as much intervention as possible until he moved schools. Sam has been so supportive over a very stressful period in our lives and we cannot thank her enough.
